Conversations about well-being — what it means, how we access it, and what it looks like to move through the world feeling grounded, supported and authentically yourself.

A space for honest, pluralistic conversations about well-being — what it means, how we access it, and what it looks like to move through the world feeling grounded, supported and authentically yourself. Hosted by Pheidah Ngoepe — wellness practitioner, yoga teacher, intuitive reader, medical doctor and occupational therapist — this podcast draws from a wide range of knowledge traditions, both ancient and contemporary, to explore what it truly means to be well. Come as you are.
Episode 01
Go itheeletša — The art of tuning in

In this first episode we explore the Sepedi concept of Go itheeletša — taking the time to be present, to connect to your senses, and to tune into the wisdom that lives in your body. Through the lens of this beautiful concept from the Sepedi language, we explore why presence and sensory awareness are not just practices of mindfulness but a crucial entry point into understanding and accessing your own well-being.

Episode 02
Moya. Be curious about yours.

In the second episode of the podcast, we explore the concept of Moya — drawing from perspectives within the Sepedi language as an anchor for understanding this rich, multi-layered term in relation to well-being. Moya carries many meanings across South African languages: breath, spirit, mood, emotion, air/essence. By drawing from what is embedded within the language itself, we explore how these different meanings of Moya can offer a way into understanding and supporting our own well-being.
